The color, for those interested, is the fall color of the blueberry bushes Mr. Bear is eating from. The time is late August/early September, fall for Alaska, and the animals are bulking up for a long winter. The fall foliage there is beautiful. If you plan a trip to Alaska fall is great since the colors are fantastic, the mosquitos (state bird, I think) are mostly gone, and the animals racks are full. #655547Elisabeth A. Gay July 18, 2004
